Ingredients:
1" inch piece ginger (peeled and chopped)
1 tsp pepper corns (roughly crushed)
1.5 tsp coriander seeds (roughly crushed)
1 tbsp jaggery
1/4th tsp turmeric pwd
500 ml water
Process:
- Mix the finely chopped ginger and crushed peppercorns and coriander seeds with water.
- Put it on a high flame and bring it to a boil
- Once it comes to boil add the jaggery, turmeric pwd and cover and simmer.
- Continue to boil until the water becomes half in quantity (approx. 250 ml)
- Switch off the flame and filter.
- This kashayam works wonders in reducing cold/flu.
