Simple Sweet Puffs (Dil pasand)



Ingredients:

Puff pastry sheets (frozen, store brought)
5 tbsp tutti fruti
3 tbsp freshly shredded coconut (frozen is fine too)
3 tbsp sugar (adjust)
1/4 tsp cardamom pwd


Process:
  • Thaw the puff pastry sheets for 30 mins.
  • Add shredded coconut to a pan and fry it for a minute.
  • Add sugar and keep mixing it, so that the sugar melts and coats the coconut well. 
  • Add in the tutti fruit and cardamom pwd
  • Mix well, switch off the flame.
  • Let it cool completly and then fill in the pastry sheets with this filling.
  • You may close the sheets in any shape.
  • preheat the oven at 400 degrees farenheit.
  • Now bake these puffs for 10-15 mins.
  • Mine took exactly 12 mins,
NOTE: If you cannot get hold of tutti fruti, you can use chopped raisins and dates.
